Venture Initiation and Entrepreneurship

Grades in this course will be based on the following three factors, weighted equally:

• course participation,
• an entrepreneurial project, and
• a final exam.

Course participation includes all forms of engagement with the course, including class discussion, the class blog and other related media. 

The entrepreneurial project has two primary parts.  One will be in in-class presentation in which you pitch & discuss your project in draft form.  The schedule for presentations will be posted on the web in week 2.  The final draft will be due at the end of the exam period.  

The final exam wil be designed to test your knowledge of standard information that is useful to successful entrepreneurs.
